MOMOFEIS is the artistic identity and independent project of Fricis Ripa, a Riga-based visual artist and 4th-year Visual Communication student at the Art Academy of Latvia.
Working primarily with airbrush, canvas, clothing and print, Fricis explores the transformation of personal experiences, environments and cultural layers into visual worlds where realistic surroundings meet surreal figures and dreamlike imagery. His work draws from internet culture, underground aesthetics and the atmosphere of contemporary Latvia, combining the familiar with the strange and the personal with collective memory.
